Women of Softcom

Enajite Aggreh

How would you describe the work you do at Softcom? What are you most proud of?

I am a relationship manager with Eyowo so my work mainly involves sales and business development. I am proud of the fact that I am a frontline ambassador of Eyowo and Softcom and I am the face of Eyowo to many people. I am also proud that work impacts on the company bottom line.

What does a gender-equal world look like to you?

I see a world of gender equity. A world where both genders acknowledge and accept the other’s weaknesses, and support in these areas both at work and at home.

What does access look like for you in the world Softcom is trying to build?

Access and inclusion for me are about equality and diversity. Here, everyone regardless of their skin colour, gender, religion, background or status gets equal opportunities as everyone else.

How did you get into the tech environment?

I got frustrated with traditional banking, especially as I knew there was something better out there. I put it out in the universe and Softcom came.

What do you do for fun?

In no particular order: I love to swim, read novels and cook great meals for friends and loved ones. I particularly love to spend quality time with my daughter and children of all ages.

Tell two truths about yourself and one lie.

1. I hate almost every Nigerian swallow i.e Amala, eba, pounded yam, fufu, akpu etc.
2. I have spent time among living breathing lions while they were awake
3. I have never travelled by train.
