How would you describe the work you do at Softcom? What are you most proud of?
My work at Softcom as a Customer Success Specialist for Kwiksell involves strengthening the bond between the organisation and customers/merchants. Satisfied and happy merchants/customers act as promoters by telling more relations, friends, partners and colleagues about the product, and this eventually yields more revenue for the organisation. So far it has been engaging, challenging, collaborative, fun, connected and flexible I am proud that I am in a team where we ensure customer retention, growth and loyalty is achieved, most importantly I am proud of my Growth.
When you picture a gender-equal world, what do you see?
I see a healthier and safer world. I believe that gender equality is important to create a safe and healthy environment for all humans. Women should be part of the decision-making at national and local levels regarding the allocation of resources for climate change initiatives. I believe that women can lead that change.
What would access and inclusion look like for you in the Africa Softcom is trying to build?
Access and inclusion to me would mean ensuring that we Africans have the same opportunities regardless of ‘who you are’ whether you are a female or male, an igbo, hausa or yoruba, a christian, muslim or traditional worshiper. Giving people the opportunities to thrive, be heard and seen. This means anyone regardless of who they are can grow their skills In the Africa Softcom is building, i see a large percentage of Africans, regardless of their gender, tribe, age and religion, having access to solutions that not only make life easy for them, but also they get value and see results.
How did you get into the tech environment?
I studied computer science but I wasn’t sure I wanted to go into that tech space. I joined Softcom as a fresh out of school graduate. My interview day was a day I can never forget. When I walked into a beautiful workspace, in it there were beautiful faces.
What do you do for fun?
I love watching movies, listening to music, reading, learning, travelling and hanging out and sleeping.
